Hi...
This is Medi (Bali-Indonesia) writing... I am trying to tell what we did on our
7th day in Asian Internship 2013.
We
had a great day, we began our day by attending Sunday Service, drink coffee
together, visited Christian Bookstore, played soccer and Night Worship. We
thank God for His blessing and the strength given to us.
*Sunday Service
We
attended Sunday Service in Gereja Kristen Kalam Kudus. We were seated on the second
floor and as the service began we were asked to stand up by the worship leader
and we were introduced to the church. We praised and worshiped God together
with the church. The Words of God taken from Acts chapter 4 verse 23 - 31. Most
of the interns used Batik (Clothes from Indonesia) and we looked good in Batik.
*Drink Coffee
We
went to a coffee shop after our Sunday service and relaxed there and enjoyed
hot chocolate, cappuccino, coffee and some cake. Each of us had a story and
interesting chat with each other. We really enjoyed our time there. As long as
we were there a couple of times supporter Arema (a football club in Malang) had
convoy that made to celebrate the birthday of their football club.
*Christian Bookstore
After
enjoying our coffee, then we visited Visi Christian Bookstore. Some of us were
looking for t-shirts, bracelets, key chains, some spiritual books, Christian
Song CDs and a few other things. We are interested to buy ring inscribed with
the Lord's Prayer. We were there long enough to pick out the items we wanted to
buy.
*Soccer
At
4 pm the men in internship played soccer with the team from training center. They
looked very happy playing football. While they played soccer the ladies enjoyed
the time taking a rest and chatted with one another because we get some free
time.
*Night Worship
We
began Night Worship at 8 pm. We sang some worship songs and prayed together. We
spent the time to worship God because His grace and love that abound of us in
this first week. We prayed in a pair of two person and prayed for each other.
See
you... I pray God will give us strength to do the rest of our Internship...
God
bless us...
